On my last example
for 8.2, you could have used u = x^2. You would then get:
(1/2) * Integral of
(du / (u^2 + 25)), which equals (1/2) * (1/5) * arctan(u/5)
+ C, which then equals (1/10) * arctan((x^2)/5)
+ C.
Another approach to arcsin
